Affiliate Product Disclosure Policy

This website, Simply Natto, is written and edited only by me, Justin Lucas.
Affiliate Products:
As a lover of natto myself, I know from experience about products which will be of use to other natto enthusiasts.
So as part of my service to people who visit this site, I like to recommend relevant products which I have tried and found to be of great quality, from companies I have personally bought from and trust in terms of their high quality products, cost-effective pricing, efficiency and personal service.
If for some reason I can't buy from a particular company - for example if the products are unable to be shipped to Japan - I only recommend companies and products when I have evidence of excellent quality and good value for you.
Some of those companies have an "affiliate opportunity" of which I have registered for.
This means that when I recommend a product and provide a link to buy it, I receive a small commission whenever someone clicks through to the supplier and buys.
This does not involve any additional cost to you, the customer.
Not every company I like to buy from has an affiliate opportunity, so many of the products I sell I do not make money from - I simply recommend them because they're good quality and fit for purpose.
If the product I am recommending is an "affiliate product," you will always find a statement near the affiliate link telling you that this is the case.
Where does the money go?
The money from affiliate sales helps me to keep the content on this website free of charge.
Some of it is put back into the site in the form of a small stock of products I personally buy and sample so that I am able to give you more information as you move along on your natto journey.
This helps me make sure you are getting goods which are as described on my site at as low a cost as possible.

*At the time of writing this affiliate disclosure policy, Simply Natto is not currently using ads. If, and when, accepted by AdSense, this policy will be updated to reflect its change in status.
Use of Ads:
I really enjoy eating natto and sharing with you traditional and unique ways to eat these healthy stringy, sticky beans; however, there are running costs for operating Simply Natto.
Adverts from AdSense allows Simply Natto to survive and the information to remain free to use.
I do not want advertising to be intrusive but without it, there would be no Simply Natto.
Please think about this before you complain, or if you use an ad-blocker.
Revenue is falling each year because of these and I’ve had to add more aggressive advertising to compensate.
There comes a point when a website costs too much to run and has to be shut down.
I don’t want that to be this one.
